After School Maktab
Importance of the Program
After-school Quran and Islamic studies classes have been an integral part of Muslim education throughout history. These programs play a crucial role in preserving and nurturing the faith of our children, providing them with the opportunity to learn essential Quran recitation, memorization, and Islamic etiquette.
An after-school Maktab program offers children the chance to develop a deep connection with their faith. They learn to read and understand the Quran, hear inspiring stories of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and embrace Islamic values and manners. This program instills good character, fosters kindness, and encourages responsible behavior while helping children balance their school and daily routines.
For many children, these classes may be their only opportunity to receive a structured Islamic education, making it vital for parents to ensure consistent participation in such programs.
This program is open to girls aged 5 and above and boys aged 5 to 8.
