After School Maktab
The after school Quran & Islamic studies classes have been a vital part of Muslim education throughout history. They serve to preserve and protect the faith of our children and give them the opportunity to learn the essentials of Quran recitation, memorization, and Islamic etiquette.
An After-school Maktab is a program where children learn to read and understand the Quran, hear stories about the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and learn Islamic values and manners. It helps them build a strong connection to their faith, develop good character, and practice being kind and responsible Muslims, all while balancing their school and daily routines
For many children, these classes are the only opportunity they have to learn about Islam. It is critical for the parents to ensure their children receive a daily Islamic education.
This program is for girls from ages 5 and above and for boys ages 5 to 8
Curriculum:
Quran Made Easy
- Learning proper makhaarij & Sifaat of letters
- Learning Tajweed rules
Naazira
- Reading fluently with proper Tajweed
Other
- Deeniyat
- Daily Duas
- Etiquettes & manners

Anyone requiring financial assistance through the zakaat program should contact the office to get more information.

The after school Maktab program runs on weekdays from Monday through Thursday.
