Alimiyyah
Full-Time Alimiyyah Program
Importance of Ilm
In an era of ignorance, Islam dignified women by elevating their status in society and granting them exceptional rights.
In the 7th century, the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) declared, “The pursuit of knowledge is obligatory on every Muslim.” This mandate was directed not only toward Muslim men but also made it essential for every believing man and woman to seek knowledge. He further stated, “The best among you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.” The Prophet’s wife, Hadhrat Aisha (r.a), is widely recognized as one of Islam’s most influential scholars.
